Atsora Solutions unlocks the potential of CNC machines
The Industry 5.0 Atsora Tracking solution developed by Atsora Solutions is a tool that collects and structures data from all digital commands in a machining workshop in real time.

This monitoring software provides users with complete, instant visibility of their current operations and the operational status of their machines. "The machine data is available at all times anyway," explains Nicolas Relange, the company’s CEO. "There is therefore no reason to ask operators to manually enter reports into ERP or MES systems when everything can be automated. This eliminates the risk of human error during data entry while freeing up time for operators to focus entirely on their production tasks. The entire workflow in the workshops is optimised."

The strengths of the software
Illustrating the importance of data management and computer analysis in modern digital environments, Atsora Tracking goes beyond a standard CNC machine monitoring system. The technology developed by Atsora Solutions relies on native connection to digital controls to access reliable, accurate and directly usable data from machines. By acquiring a large amount of data such as the execution mode, the number of parts, the expected end of the current cycle (deduced from a multitude of data depending on the type of workshop, by cross-referencing machine activity, counters and machining programmes, for example), machining data, and tool life, it not only ensures optimal real-time production monitoring but also allows for quick corrections to be made. Cycle ratio analysis, for example, provides information on the effectiveness of a particular method. The software also provides operators with a list of upcoming tasks, such as part or tool changes and inspections, and can alert them if there is any risk that production targets will not be met.

The analysis and immediate transmission by SMS or email of malfunctions such as short stoppages and their recurrence, machine alarms and CNC alarms, or machine stoppages exceeding the specified time, ensures a rapid and effective response. In order to relieve operators of manual data entry, the causes of machine stoppages are automatically recorded and classified, and then used as the basis for a continuous improvement process.

Increase in productivity
These various real-time analyses and the corrective measures they enable to be taken quickly are used to identify production costs per unit and improve them by making the right decisions at the right time, in particular by preparing tools in advance to avoid any loss of time or by comparing estimated and actual execution times. Atsora Tracking is modular and adapts to different types of workshops in order to offer the most relevant solutions. The aim is to transform production operations to achieve unrivalled levels of efficiency and quality.

Multiple possible applications
This software is suitable for many industries such as aerospace and defence, watchmaking and jewellery, medical, energy and mould production, and can be easily adapted thanks to plug-ins capable of handling different applications. With 200 configuration files for data acquisition, it supports a wide range of protocols and is compatible with a large number of controls such as Fanuc, Siemens Sinumerik 840D and 840D SL, Heidenhain, Mitsubishi, Fidia, D.Electron, Selca, Makino, Okuma, and Brother.
