The launch of Acrotec Medtech brings together the certified and complementary medical expertise of nine Group companies. For the first time, these companies will take part in MedtecLIVE, in Stuttgart, from 3 to 5 May under the name “Acrotec Medtech”.
"From simple components to the most complicated assembled functions, Acrotec takes care of everything". In only a few words, this is a clear summary of the "contract manufacturing one-stop-shop" concept, which naturally justified the creation of the Acrotec Medtech division with the nine companies of the Group that have medical machining skills and certification: Diener Precision Machining & Precision Pumps, Tectri, AFT Micromécanique, Microweld, WatchDec, Décovi, Pierhor-Gasser, STS (Develier), and Team- Metal, the latest company to join Acrotec.
This group of companies represents a complete chain of expertise, with potential for new synergies in the medical equipment industry to improve quality, costs and production times for the end customer. Thanks to a perfect mastery of high-precision machining, welding and laser cutting, anodising, passivation and assembly technologies, Acrotec Medtech is able to offer a range of proven expertise and is, therefore, a one-stop shop capable of simplifying the lives of its customers.
These technical skills have various fields of application: spine, trauma, dental, instruments, cardiovascular, surgery and pumps. Support from Acrotec’s R&D unit enhances the innovative capabilities of all these companies tenfold to meet the end customer’s requirements and to keep up with medical progress.
From 3 to 5 May, 2022, for the first time in its history, and under its new name, the Acrotec Group will be at a European event exclusively dedicated to medical technology: MedtecLIVE, in Stuttgart (stand 10-616 - hall 10).
