The 16th EuroMold opened its gates on December 2, running through December 5, 2009, at the Exhibition Center Frankfurt / Main. 1,354 exhibitors from 37 countries are showcasing their innovations, products and services on the World Fair for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application development. 50,000 to 60,000 attendees are expected.

Further increase of the internationality Also this year EuroMold can increase the internationality and that way strengthen its position. The quota of foreign exhibitors is 39.6%, compared to EuroMold 2008 (36.0%) a rise by 10%. The most important international country is China with a quota of 31.4% of all foreign exhibitors. France has increased its participation significantly and achieves a quota of 10.2%. After that follows Italy (9.6%), South Korea (8.6%), Taiwan (6.6%), Switzerland (4.1%) and UK (3.0%).
381 new exhibitors from 30 countries 381 exhibitors have never at all or have not for the past two years participated at EuroMold. 51.7% of these come from outside Germany. Hence EuroMold has an attractive power worldwide. 33.7% of all new exhibitors work within moldmaking and tooling. This has led to a significant reinforcement of EuroMold’s core area this year. Eurotec is there, discovering news… For instance the world’s widest ER system product range offered by Rego-Fix. This company probably has the most extensive program, including all common taper, HSK taper, CAPTO and cylindrical tool holders. The perfectly calibrated ER system covers the entire clamping range from 0.2 to 34 mm. Their clamping nuts range from the standard version and the “sealed“ type for internal coolant supply, as glide bearing nut for higher clamping forces to the mini-version. In line with the motto “Meeting the highest expectations“ all components of ER clamping systems meet the ISO certified production standards of REGO-FIX for high-speed-machining. Additional balancing rings enable high-precision balancing up to 80,000 rpm.
