This year’s central professional event of European toolmakers, associated in the European International Special Tooling and Machining Association ISTMA Europe, will take place in Slovenia’s largest tourist centre Portoro on 12 June 2013.
The focus of 4. ISTMA Europe Forum will be on increasing the developmental competitive ability, indispensable to the sustainable development and progress of the sector in Europe.

Accompanied by the central event of Slovenian industry the 5. Industrial Forum IRT 4. ISTMA Europe Forum will conclude three days of professional socialization of Slovenian engineers and researchers in industry, who will gather two days before the ISTMA Forum (on June 10 and 11, 2013) at the 5. Industrial Forum of Innovation, R&D and Technology (IRT) 2013. In addition to a discussion about the actual topics and presentation of the industry’s latest achievements, Industrial Forum IRT also brings a professional exhibition, which is going to be supplemented during the last two days by a special exhibition of Slovenian toolshops and machine builders. We also must not forget one important aspect of professional socialisation experience exchange and establishing new contacts with colleagues!
