The Agathon Standards catalog becomes a technical manual / reference guide for elements and offers the user, along with comprehensive product information, including general principles about the products, such as selection guides, functional specifications, application possibilities, as well as installation and maintenance instructions.
New way to find information
- Attention has been paid to a clear division between the general information section and product-specific information (corresponding to the standard).
- The product groups are filed into corresponding registers and classified according to standards, respectively application area.
- The article search/selection is simple and clear due to index and grouped image directories with page reference.
- The individual pages are well structured and include besides product photo, dimensional drawing, and text information also a table with all relevant dimensions for the selection and installation.
- The navigation title and the page numbering facilitate finding the desired article. The catalog is available as a ring binder, in reader-friendly A4 format, and in electronic format as PDF catalog with appropriate links, on CD or as downloadable version on the Agathon homepage (in English, German, French and Italian here).
Full of novelties The product range has expanded with new standards and new products, such as shorter bushes as well as matching ball cages made of aluminum (standard 7661). The following innovations are specifically mentioned:
- Standard 7621, plastic ball cage with double-helical ball arrangement for linear and/or radial movements. Because each ball runs on its own track, a back-free entrance in the preload is possible and the appearance of run-in marks on the pillar/bush is reduced.
- Standard 7663, Brass roller cages with profile rollers for very high radial loads, with limited stroke frequency and outer circlips for stroke limitation.
- Standard 7990, “Round Fine Centering system” for backlash-free centering of two plates to one another, over a defined distance, with a limited stroke frequency.
The area of technical information was greatly developed in the new product catalog. The Swiss company highlights its technical expertise as a manufacturer of standard products and customized special parts.
