RoboJob introduces two new products at the AMB

September 2018

In two weeks is when it finally kicks off: on Tuesday 18 September, the AMB trade fair in Stuttgart opens the doors. The AMB is the largest and most important trade fair this year for the metalworking industry in Germany. It’s the fourth time now that RoboJob – the Belgian market leader in CNC automation – will be taking part and they’ll also be introducing two new products there.

The AMB trade fair has been high on the priorities of the Belgian specialist in CNC automation for a long time. It is indeed the most important trade fair for the metalworking industry in southern Germany. This year the organization is increasing the exhibition space by more than 120,000 m² with the brand-new Paul Horn hall and RoboJob has also managed to significantly increase its own exhibition stand area. Because RoboJob will be introducing two new products at the AMB, that additional area will be particularly useful.

“At every fair we try to turn out with new products, modular extensions or other innovations. It was two years ago that we presented our new software here,” remembers Jelle De Roovere, Business Development Manager at RoboJob. "Given that the AMB fair is so important to RoboJob, we couldn’t ignore the opportunity of turning up once again with innovations. Hence we are very proud that we can present our new Turn-Assist 270 i and our new Mill-Assist Essential i,” says a delighted De Roovere. “Both products fit into our new product portfolio concept and are also part of the ‘Integrated range’ of which we showed the first model at the 2017 EMO using the Turn-Assist 200 i."

With the ’Integrated’ models from the Turn and Mill-Assist Series, RoboJob is constructing the entire automation on one fixed chassis. This makes it very easy to remove the automation from a CNC machine, or even to move it from one CNC machine to another. The Turn-Assist 270 i enables CNC lathes and turning/milling combinations to be automated. The Turn-Assist 270 i has a wider diameter range (270mm instead of 200mm) in comparison with the Turn-Assist 200 i and it has considerably more capacity. A heavier robot payload is also possible (up to 35 kg). The Mill-Assist Essential i is RoboJob’s first integrated model in the Mill-Assist Series for automating milling machines. In addition to these two new models, RoboJob will also be demonstrating the Tower on its stand in Stuttgart.

The AMB trade fair takes place this year in Stuttgart, from 18 to 22 September. The RoboJob exhibition stand can be found in Hall 6 on Stand C 34. RoboJob systems may also be found on the Okuma and Quaser stand in Hall 4, on Stand B 11.
