CTI Medtech Event 2010: Last minute!

On behalf of the innovation promotion agency CTI, Mr Nolte, head of CTI Medtech initiative cordially invites people to the CTI Medtech Event 2010. This one day meeting brings together nearly 400 representatives from the R&D sector, the Swiss industry, the financial sector and various funding agencies.

The event has become one of the most important networking and innovation promotion events in the field. This year partakers will meet the new President and the new Director of the CTI and will hear about the various funding opportunities of CTI including their start up program.

CTI Medtech Event 2010 The Swiss medical technology sector occupies a leading position worldwide. Partnerships between medical technology companies and R&D institutions result in successful products. The CTI Medtech initiative has been part of the services of the Innovation Promotion Agency CTI since 1997, with more than 200 collaborative projects being supported by CTI in that time. This year’s Medtech Event will continue with the successful format of the past events, however, this year there will be more time for communication and networking. CTI will also be introducing the Medtech Best Poster Award and the Medtech activities of the CTI Startup program as additional highlights.

Machine tool orders holding up well

Orders received by the German machine tool industry in the third quarter of 2022 were 9 percent up on the previous year’s figure. Orders received by the German machine tool industry in the first quarter of 2022 were 44 per cent up on the same period last year. The activity developed by Bilbao Exhibition Centre in 2016 generated an economic impact in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 91,976,392 Euros.
