Dixi Polytool S.A., manufacturer of carbide tools aims to constantly innovate to strengthen its benchmark position, in particular in the watchmaking field.
Thus, the year 2013 was marked by a large number of new products launches, dedicated primarily to the watchmakers and their subcontractors.
Profiled T-slot end mill Dixi Polytool has always been able to manufacture profiled T-slot end mills (picture below) according to specific demands from customers but now, in order to answer as quickly as possible, the company has invested in a large stock of semifinished rough parts from Ø 4 mm to 30 mm. Therefore, Dixi Polytool is able to satisfy its customers within a few days only in all geometries required by this market, this from one single tool to large series.
Straight flute slot drills 7063 This new family of tools is intended for machining plates of gold, silver or brass watch. The specific geometry has been developed in order to carry out machining on the slopes without burrs and to get mirror polish in the bottom of the parts. This range has been developed with various watch partners. These tools include mirror polished cut and rake sides and are available from stock from Ø 0.40 to 4 mm.
DIXI 1136 drills with reinforced shank This new family of micro-drills is non- coated or DICUT coated and complements a very wide range already offered by Dixi. This is a versatile range in terms of materials to be machined and it is characterized in particular by a tolerance of 0/+ 0.004 on the diameter and a big variety (0.20 to 1.99 every 1/100 mm)
DIXI 1716 micro thread formers This new range of micro thread formers comes to complement the very large range of Dixi micro taps. These tools are mainly destined for machining of row alloy steels, copper alloys and aluminum. All the tools are coated with a nano layer of Di-Top and are available from stock from S 0.40 to M 1.40.
NT, RT right and left gauges according to NIHS standard Dixi Polytool also completed a range of gauges from S 0.30 to S 1.40 according to NIHS RT and NT standard.
