Successful start to AMB 2024 in Stuttgart

The International Exhibition for Metal Working was officially opened yesterday by Roland Bleinroth and Dr. Florian Stegmann. The opening ceremony attracted the trade press, visitors and exhibitors. This successful opening marked the start of the 21st edition of AMB.

Successful start to AMB 2024 in Stuttgart

Roland Bleinroth, President and CEO of Messe Stuttgart, welcomed everyone at midday on the AMB Stage: "We have been successfully staging AMB for many years. In 2024 the exhibition will again become THE meeting point for the international metal working industry and is a must-attend event in the exhibition calendar. The trade fair grounds in Stuttgart are fully occupied with the stands of 1,244 exhibitors from 28 countries. We appreciate this great support and are looking forward to five exhibition days which will demonstrate the potential and efficiency of the industry."

Up until 14 September, AMB will not only be a platform for highly modern technologies and innovations, but also an important source of momentum for the entire industry.

Dr. Florian Stegmann, Minister of State and Head of the Chancellery Office, Baden-Württemberg State Ministry, attended the opening of AMB as a representative from politics. He emphasised the importance of AMB and the innovative capacity of Baden-Württemberg: "Metal working is one of the most innovative industries and one of the biggest employers in Baden-Württemberg. The strength of southwest Germany here at AMB is also shown by the fact that 1 in 3 exhibitors this year is based in Baden-Württemberg. Once again this makes AMB a showcase for the innovative capacity in Baden-Württemberg. I am therefore delighted to be here at the opening of AMB."

A strong signal for the forthcoming exhibition days was set under the slogan "We are AMB", a countdown and the symbolic cutting of a ribbon.

AMB is the marketplace and the meeting point for the metal cutting industry where the latest products, technologies, innovations, services and concepts are presented in all their facets. DeburringEXPO to be incorporated into new trade fair, PARTS FINISHING, taking place at a later date
