Last night we organized our traditional apéro. That was the occasion to share a nice moment with passionate people from our world of microtechnology. Thanks a lot the many customers and friends that came.

The organisers of the show arrived late because at 6:00 (time of the start of our apéro) they had invited all the exhibitors to come and meet with them to exchange friendly on what is going well and what has to be improved for next year’s show. And?
All positive The three directors waited for about 20 minutes but none went there to take the opportunity to discuss or complain! And that is the feeling on the whole show, the vast majority of the exhibitors I discussed with told me how the show is positive and how successful they are, with many visits and also new customers and direct orders on the booths. Great to hear indeed. Questioned about the challenges for 2014, Oliver Saenger director told us: “It is a great amount of work to reach such a level of quality and this success is totally shared with our exhibitors that also work hard. For the future we need first to stay at the level we are today (at minimum) and indeed listen to our exhibitors and visitors to still improve what can be”.
A few novelties In term of machines, some companies were presenting new concepts or machines:
- Crevoisier with the polishing cell based on virtual reality (read our article here)
- VFM Machines with the Roku-Roku high precision machining center (read our article here)
- Many companies like Mikron, Sarix, Tornos, Willemin-Macodel unveiled a little their news for EMO (but not largely) and if I cannot write anything now, I can say that there are some incredibly revolutionary products coming soon… stay tuned.
Thanks again to all our customers with whom we work to make microtechnology shine a little bit more day after day.
Cheers,
Pierre-Yves
