I was in Stuttgart at the control show. I discussed with a lot of companies and people (thank to them for the nice welcome on their booths) and all in all the feeling is positive!
Actual projects According to people there, maybe the number of visitors was not as high as it could have been in normal time, but the quality was really there. I was told that there are actually projects in the air and that the outcome of the show would not only be nice memories but business.
Professional show These people also told me that the show is really professional (what I’ve seen too) and that they were really happy to be there.
A fully alive industry After the grinding symposium in Thun where all the companies of the Körber grinding group explained us (us meaning the whole European technical press) that the there are a lot of innovation and moves in the machine-tool industry, I saw that’s the same in term of control! That was really a good discovery… Yes there is a slow-down in the industry, but a lot of companies are taking this opportunity to prepare the next upward trend… and obviously, those who will be ready at that moment will be at the best place.
