The Medical Cluster and SFL are holding the first international conference at the interface between medtech and pharma on 30-31 of October 2014 in Zurich.
Historically, there has been a clear dividing line between companies of the Medtech and Pharma industries. However, recent years have seen a trend towards the combined development of drugs, devices and in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) that encompass characteristics of both drugs and devices/IVDs.
This two-day conference is a unique concept covering the following topics
- Combination products,
- regulatory frameworks applying at the interface of drugs,
- devices and IVDs,
- technological developments for combination products,
- market access and pricing,
- and intellectual property from the perspective of increasing transparency requirements.
