Gloor, the leading manufacturer of carbide form tools with logarithmic relief grinding, has developed over 20 years ago the mini internal whirl thread end mills to machine internal threads.
These tools are used for internal milling of very small threads for the medical, dental and watchmaking industry. They are equipped with logarithmic relief grinding, which gives them a very high durability and allows them to produce very accurate and high-performance threads in titanium, stainless steel and other materials. Today, Gloor has considerably expanded its standard range of mini internal whirl thread end mills for internal threads and can offer this type of mills up from S 0.60/M0.60. The tools are available with 1, 2, 3 or 4 cutting teeth depending on applications. Mini whirl thread end mills are also available with 2, and 3 grooves on another standard program.
Available ex stock All these tools can now be delivered ex stock. Thanks to modern production methods, they are much cheaper than other end mills available today on the market. Special models with topping profile (full profile) are also available. These tools will be presented for the first time on the Gloor booth at EMO 2011. (Hall 5, booth A32)
