Reamers for beburring by Gühring

Gühring offers a wide range of standard deburring tools for finishing the inlets and outlets of all conventional and transverse bores, including the first ever tungsten carbide deburring reamer for automatic deburring of bores on finishing machines: the EWR 100 G.

Instead of time-consuming and expensive manual deburring, the automated machine deburring is the most reliable, fast and economical automatic machining process. Another revolution: the EWR 500 capable of deburring transverse bores to the root. Regarding the quality of workpieces, especially those with numerous transverse bores, internal deburring is a growing challenge. This is the case, for example, with the lubrication channels in modern high-performance engines, which can only achieve optimum throughput with perfect deburring. This machining and deburring precision, with a certain geometry like a slight chamfer, is increasingly required for cylinder heads, steering levers, gearbox housings, injectors or brake cylinders like master cylinders. While deburring the bore entry is not a problem, deburring transverse boreholes is often a complex and very expensive manual operation. This is where the new EWR 500 deburring reamer technology, specially developed for this type of application, comes into play. Gühring offers a multitude of technical possibilities for the production of deburring tools and offers unique deburring solutions on machines. Not only the production cost price is lower due to shorter machining times, but the manufacturing process is also more reliable and the quality of deburring is better. In addition to these deburring tools for drilling outputs, Gühring also produces ogival milling cutters with special geometry for specific cases of deburring of drilling inputs.

Deburring tool EW 100 G The deburring of the drilling inlets or outlets on the machine with the EW 100 G deburring tools is much simpler and more economical than manual deburring. Several deburring operations can be carried out with a single tool.

Universal use on all machine tools, milling, turning and robotic machines Covering diameter ranges with differences of 0.25 mm, these deburring tools can be used for holes whose tolerances are not too tight. The EW 100 G deburring tool ensures mechanical deburring in one operation or in masked time for machining workpieces with transverse drilling as well as workpieces with several drilled walls to be deburred.

Deburring tool EWR 500 Very often, when deburring with conventional reamers, the burrs between the tool and the bore wall are folded down instead of sheared, offering less good results. The new EWR 500 deburring reamers shear with a clean cut for the most reliable machining process. The gap between the reamer and the bore wall is closed by the pressure of the cutting edges against the wall to be machined, which is caused by the pressure of the coolant. The forces resulting from this stress allow straight shearing at the root of the burr. As there is no risk of damage to the walls of the bores, the deburring reamer is also suitable for deburring adjustment bores. The positioning and the number of drilling outputs are adapted to the machining cases. Thanks to several outlets in the lubrication product supply channels, the value of the pressure exerted on the cutting edges is permanently guaranteed, eliminating the risk of a drop in the pressure value at the cross hole.
