swissT.Fair opened today in Moutier

swissT.fair is the trade fair for Swiss providers of automation and electronics. It is also a showcase for training institutes of these branches. It opened its door in Moutier for the first time today.

Targeted audience swissT.fair , fair for automation & electronics targets an audience of professionals from automation, electronics and machine and system building. It is also a platform for policy makers, purchasers, developers, engineers and builders.

. 400 members and the willingness to cover the whole country The swissT Network is a technology network dedicated to automation and electronics, its aim is to help companies in these markets to grow. One of the tools used is "trade shows". It organizes swissTfair in uneven years (Moutier and Zürich) and Sindex in even years (Bern).

So far the swissT Network has more members from German speaking Switzerland and those wanted to be well presented in French speaking Switzerland too… hence the Moutier event. Companies from this area can go to Moutier tomorrow to discover their skills.

Roboy comes to visit The conference given by the University of Zurich will be a great highlight on Friday morning 10 am. Prof. Rolf Pfeifer, director of the laboratory for artificial intelligence of the University of Zurich will present Roboy, the humanoid robot. He will report about the current state and perspectives of “artificial intelligence”.
