The medtech industry is looking for an in-person trade fair in the first half of the year // Greater planning certainty due to better feasibility after Whitsun.
Messe Stuttgart is rescheduling T4M – Technology for Medical Devices to 8 – 10 June 2021. By postponing the trade fair well in advance and setting the new date after the Whitsun holiday, the organiser is hoping to make the Medical Technology Expo more likely to go ahead, and thus ensure greater planning certainty for exhibitors and visitors alike. Discussions with its supporters and partners, such as the VDMA Working Group Medical Technology, Swiss Medtech and MedicalMountains Cluster in Tuttlingen, and general exhibitor feedback have shown a clear and maintained preference for an in-person trade fair in the first half of the year on the part of the medical technology industry. To ensure the controlled and safe implementation of the trade fair, Messe Stuttgart has developed a concept to protect the health of all exhibitors, visitors and employees. The new trade fair date promises the medical technology industry exciting synergies through the in-house events Moulding Expo (International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making) and CastForge (Trade Fair for Castings and Forgings with Processing), which will run in parallel. Furthermore, the responsible project team is planning to support the actual trade fair activities digitally – just as planned for the original trade fair date.
