Technical Watchmaker Show: A positive result for this 3rd edition!

After 2 years of absence (Covid obliges) the 2022 edition took place in a friendly and energizing environment at the former slaughterhouses of La Chaux-de-Fonds.

This place, charged with an industrial past from the middle of the 19th century, located in the heart of the watchmaking and microtechnical activities of the Jura Arc, has undergone various judiciously nuanced transformations which now give it a versatility allowing it to host the TWS show in the best conditions. The 64 exhibitors from the watchmaking microtechnology sector were able to present their know-how in a friendly, bright and warm setting that fully reflects the values of the TWS show.

During the 4 days of the TWS, about 1800 visitors from Switzerland, neighbouring countries and also from overseas countries met the exhibitors who were proud to demonstrate their technical and industrial skills as well as the technological innovations of the moment.

Various conferences also allowed visitors and exhibitors to discover new technologies in the fields of additive manufacturing, quality or industrialization but also to discuss energy issues that are now part of our daily lives.

The 3rd edition of the TWS Technical Watchmaker Show which took place from September 20 to 23, 2022 ends on a positive note.

If it is true that the first day was impacted by the extended Federal Fast Weekend, in terms of the number of visitors, the next 3 days fully met the expectations of the exhibitors. Moreover, at the end of the show, a large part of them had already confirmed their participation for the 2023 edition.

The organizers, anxious to maintain a broad-spectrum microtechnology show, oriented towards the watchmaking professions, have taken the time to collect the remarks and comments of exhibitors in order to make the TWS even more in line with their expectations. On this basis, the organizers are already announcing that the 2023 edition of the TWS will be held at the Anciens Abattoirs in La Chaux-de-Fonds from Tuesday 12 to Friday 15 September 2023.

The planning of the future dates of the TWS will allow to avoid the obstacle of the Federal Fast for both visitors and exhibitors. In the future the TWS will always stay after the Federal Fast.

I was in Stuttgart at the control show. I discussed with a lot of companies and people (thank to them for the nice welcome on their booths) and all in all the feeling is positive! Actual projects According to people there, maybe the number of visitors was not as high as it could have been in normal time, but the quality was really there. AMB 2010 postponed for one week
