The universal laser machine for 3D processing

May 2012

Let’s carry on the presentation of machines and solutions seen at Siams. Indeed there were many microtechnology solutions to discover there. The Trumpf TruLaser Cell Series 3000 machines offer a flexible solution for 2D and 3D processing of small components.

Compact machine construction with small space requirements - Where space is restricted - for instance on an assembly line - the laser device and the machine can be set up separately.

Typical applications are in medical technology, precision engineering and the electronics industry - wherever high precision, quality and reliability are required. The TruLaser Cell 3010 with up to six axes is suitable for 2D and 3D processing of workpieces. Sample parts and prototypes as well as small and medium series can be welded, cut or drilled with it, economically and precisely.

Build to last Solid portal construction of hard stone and glass gauges are the basis for the highly precise travel guidance. All axes are driven by service-free digital servomotors and ball screws and are monitored by high-resolution measurement systems. Solid construction guarantees a long service life and high precision.

Safety and user-friendliness With the active security measure of the safety enclosure, even large laser outputs of high brilliance are controlled within a small space. Unified operation concept: all laser and machine functions are accessible at one control panel. The TruLaser Cell can be connected with a central server over an Ethernet connection.
