Additive-Talks sets out to foster exchanges between Additive Manufacturing Players and Manufacturers from Vertical Industries

September 2020

3D ADEPT, a global and trusted source for additive manufacturing, organizes Additive-Talks, a series of virtual conferences that aims to bring together additive manufacturing players as well as manufacturers and experts from vertical industries so that they can exchange on various topics. Additive Talks Day will be held on September 10th from 09.30 am to 05.00 pm CET.

Additive Manufacturing, commonly known as 3D Printing, is increasingly leveraged across a wide range of industries (aerospace, automotive, medical, space, railway and the manufacturing industry in general). However, the more this technology advances, the more it raises several questions among these users regarding the right steps to take to accelerate its adoption.

However, most AM users and future users of the technology usually have a holistic approach in their way to discovering and further expanding their knowledge about additive manufacturing. This approach often includes, discovering resources through trade press, in-person exchanges during events or analysis from various companies’ contents/experiences.

For us an in-depth understanding of a topic requires the confrontation of different ideas and experiences, which is the goal of Additive-Talks. Each panel brings together experts from different backgrounds in order to bring a new perspective on the table.

A glimpse of the agenda:

A series of panel discussions will constitute the backbone of this day. Between, each panel, attendees will have the possibility to enhance their network and discover industry peers.

Panel Discussion 1: Digitalisation and Distributed Manufacturing: How Important Are They For Additive Manufacturing?

Panel Discussion 2: How To Increase Process Productivity For Replacement Parts?

Panel Discussion 3: Make It Worthwhile: How To Increase Efficiency In The Printing Process

Panel Discussion 4: Costs & Considerations for Investing Into An AM System

Panel Discussion 5: The Relationship Between Sustainability & AM

Participation and access remain free of charge for all attendees. The Additive-Talks Day is sponsored by Materialise
