Universal guide bushes on Tornos machines

December 2011

The guide bushes delivered with Tornos Deco7 and Micro7 machines have a thread of M10x0.8, which is difficult to find and not according to international standards. Walter Dünner SA proposes the alternative to allow customers to set up their machines with guide bushes from different producers.

The two proposed nuts adapt the machine in order to set up guide bushes with M10x0.75 thread.

The machine equipped with such a nut will then also be able to accept the same guide bushes as set on Citizen, Star and Tsugami machines (and more). With these nuts M10x0.75 users can also use the ceramic guide bush type J4 New Surf®, which is specially recommended for difficult materials or marking problems on the bar or parts.

Dünner nut + new surf = Work without trouble in difficult materials The New Surf ceramic guide bush is a product which has been improved to perfection. It is a work of six years by Walter Dünner SA. The utilization of the New Surf ceramic guide bush has proven its efficacy in all stainless steels and all materials that otherwise easily get stuck into the guide bush.
