Fritz Schiess AG carries out complex parts by fineblanking using leading-edge technologies. It is equipped with new presses in order to increase its manufacturing performance. Thanks to intelligent solutions implemented to address the issues of design and tooling, the company is now able to increase its production rates.

Characteristics Fritz Schiess AG produces gears and many small precision parts and assemblies using a method of fine blanking enabling a considerable reduction of shrinkage. New RE process developed by the inventor of fine blanking allows to produce teeth with a bearing surface about 90%. Thanks to the clever design of tooling, gears can be manufactured in a single operation with an unrivalled level of quality to date (no secondary operation!)

Key competencies The company can manufacture teeth till 8 times module 0.5 per series while guaranteeing the precision of repeatability and process reliability. The result? Totally innovative solutions with regard to the design of numerous subassemblies and parts.
