The Ruby-Precis/Micropierre group has grown considerably in 2009 in all metals machining: stainless steels of every type, titanium, tungsten, molybdenum, or, Platinum, as well as in ultra hard materials like technical ceramic, sapphire, silica, carbide

Current capacities for metals are from diameters 0.40 to 32 mm, tolerance 1 micron on some machines with 10 axes, 45 tools and counter-spindle.

A new workshop of 500 sqm equipped with NC lathes and machining centers is operational since early 2009 at Ruby-Precis/Charquemont. This to answer to the growing requirements of more technical and smaller parts. A new factory of 2’100 sqm has also been completed at Micropierre/Besançon with significant human and machinery investments.

Beyond machining The Ruby-Precis/Micropierre Group is also able to provide assembled mechanical components. Micro assembling being a specialty of the company. The Group employs 85 highly qualified specialists and exports 55% of its business revenues (10 million Euros in 2009) in 15 different countries. To be seen at Micronora The main markets involving these mechanical components are: medical, luxury, aerospace, instrumentation, analyze, optics, equipment, laboratories and research centers. The company will present its know-how to visitors at Micronora from September 28 to October 1, on Booth B2, lane 1 / 104.
