I’ve met Béatrice Bula, responsible of the Bula brand today at EPHJ/EPMT and she made me discover the new multi-station polishing machine just launched by Bula Technologie. This machine is the first with a new very intuitive programming system based on a Fanuc control. Every specialist of polishing can now use it without any knowledge of the ISO programming system.

With 3 stations dedicated to polishing and one for loading /unloading, the machine is very productive. Every station houses 5 axes + 2. The machine also includes an automatic retractable tail stock. This one can be used for two main purposes:
- Holding long parts
- Protecting some sections of the part to be polished In order to maximize the versatility of the machine, one can simply change the brushes and pass from a polishing machine to a deburring one.
Programming? As easy as said! The new interface developed by the company allows people not knowing any programming language to work with a very powerful CNC machine without any trouble. All the main functions like:
- Use of the polishing dough
- Tilt
- Oscillation
- …
are managed by macros. It is a learning system, you can “show” the machine how to do and it’s done. Obviously the control is compatible with CAD/CAM systems and a comprehensive training is offered to users. The screens are simple and based on the “language of the polishing professionals”. With this machine Bula Technologie offers the most advanced technology to everyone.
