Mr. Siegfried Knüpfer (53) has been appointed as Managing Director of WALTER Maschinenbau GmbH, Tübingen/Germany.

He will start in his new role on January 1st, 2010. Mr. Knüpfer has studied “Economics” at the University of Karlsruhe and obtained a diploma as Industrial Engineer. Before joining WALTER Maschinenbau GmbH, Tübingen, Mr. Knüpfer was responsible as Managing Director / CFO with Boehringer Maschinenbaugruppe and in the position as Managing Director CEO (chairman) with Vollmer Werke GmbH, Biberach.
